Simon created Exmoor in late 2004. Exmoor is an independent investor
and asset manager in commercial real estate in Spain. Exmoor creates
joint ventures with international investors to acquire commercial
property with potential for enhancement through intensive management
and investment. Exmoor acts as minority investor and asset manager.
Investments to date have been mainly in the retail sector and total
over $100m. Joint venture partners for transactions include Orion
Capital Managers and Merrill Lynch.
Simon is also an advisor to Equest Balkan Properties, an AIM listed
property company which raised $200m in December 2005 to invest
principally in Rumania and Bulgaria.
