Juan José Brugera Clavero was born in October 1946. He holds an MBA from ESADE along with a bachelor's degree in technical engineering.

From September 1994, he is Chief Executive Officer of INMOBILIARIA COLONIAL S.A., Chairman of the ESADE FOUNDATION and Vice Chairman for Economic Affairs in the Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona.

Prior to holding these current positions, he was Chief Executive Officer of SINDIBANK, Assistant Managing Director of BANCO DE SABADELL, and a Member of the Board of Directors of the Barcelona Economics Cercle for 10 years. He has also made two takeover bid for SINDIBANK in 1990 and for INMOBILIARIA COLONIAL, S.A in 1999.
