Rafael González Tormo was born in Albaida (Valencia) in 1995. Bachelor in Economics and Business in Barcelona’s University and prize-winner of this degree. Graduate in Managerial Functions of Local Administrations in the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (ESADE). He has been a collaborator lecturer in the Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública, in the Instituto de Empresa, of Master courses in the Architecture School of Universidad Politécnica of Catalunya, in the Universitat de Barcelona and of Continuous education in the Pompeu Fabra University. Member of the Editorial staff of different urban plans such as the Plan 22@. He has held different Managerial functions in the public sector; the most recent is in the Urban Sector of the Ayuntamiento de Barcelona: since March 2005 he was the Executive Director of the 22@Barcelona, public society which designs and manages the urban and economic transformation of old industrial areas of Poblenou quarter in Barcelona. Nowadays, he is the Managing Director of ESPAIS Promocions Immobiliàries S.A., and associate lecturer of Economics in the Universidad de Barcelona.
