Since 1975 and from his professional bureau Mr. Tarragó has managed many studies on Urban and Land Policies in relation to the commerce sector.

In 1975 he became Manager of the first Commercial Urban Studies in Spain (IDESCO. Urbanismo Comercial in Girona, Spain).

Marçal Tarragó is the Technical Director of the Plan Especial del Comercio Alimentario de Barcelona (1986). Nowadays he is Consultant for the writing of the Plan Especial de Urbanismo del Comercio No Alimentario de Barcelona.

He has managed the Technical Works of the General Plans of Commercial Equipments in Aragón and Castilla y León and has collaborated in the legislative specification of the land impacts in the commercial implant in the País Vasco and in the País Valenciano. All these documents are records and were simultaneous to the Planes Territoriales Sectoriales de Equipamientos Comerciales de Catalunya.
