Paul Dittmann is a Director with Barclays Capital in the European Real Estate Financing Group. Paul is focusing on building BarCap's continental European platform. Paul recently moved to BarCap from Goldman Sachs where he established their European Commercial Property Finance Department in 2002 after working six years with the European Real Estate Securitisation group at Citigroup/SSSB. Paul has been active in European securitisation since he transferred to London in 1996. Paul has broad experience in all aspects of securitisation finance including real estate, CDOs, CBOs, and RMBS. Prior to moving to London in 1996, Paul worked in the Citibank Real Estate Finance Group and was responsible for improving the performance of the shopping centre loan book. Paul received his M.B.A. in Finance and Investments from University of Wisconsin in 1994 and a Master of Science degree specialising in Commercial Real Estate Finance and Development from University of Wisconsin in 1994.
