Pilar de Torres Sanahuja was born in Barcelona in 1956.
Bachelor in Economics by the Universitat Autònoma de Bellaterra she also coursed a Master in Mathematical Econometric in the London School of Economics and a PDG in IESE.
Director of the Corporate Finance department in PricewaterhouseCoopers and responsible of merging and acquisitions and finance projects in the area of Catalonia and Balearic Islands. She also held the position of Company Managing Director in BBVA and Managing Director of Banca Corporativa Catalunya de Argentaria. Moreover, Pilar de Torres has held the position of Managing Director in the branch of Barcelona of Dresdner Bank and Managing Director of Banca Corporativa in Madrid of the Chase Manhattan Bank, NA.
