Vladimir I. Resin is a Russian state and public figure. He was born in Minsk (Belarus) on 21 February 1936.

V.I. Resin is married to Marta Yakovlevna Chadayeva. They have a daughter and a grandson.

Professor Resin graduated from Moscow Mining Institute in 1958. He worked at various construction sites. He was the Head of the leading construction organizations of Moscow. From 1988 started his work in the executive authorities’ system, from 1991-1992 - the leader of Construction and Investment Complex of the city. Since 2000-2002 he is the First Deputy Mayor in the Government of Moscow City, the head of the Complex of Architecture, Construction, Development and Reconstruction of the City (CACDR); from 2002 holds the post of the head of Department of City Planning policy, Development and Reconstruction of City of Moscow.

Vladimir I. Resin is Academician of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences, the head of the chair at Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics (1996), an honorary Professor of Russian Academy of Sciences (2005), an honorary Professor of Moscow International University (2000).

Mr. Resin is an author of 100 scientific articles and publications, 16 books and 33 inventions. Many of his published works are translated into foreign languages.

In all Mr. Resin received 40 USSR and Russian Federation State awards and distinctions. Mr. Resin was honored with high scientific awards such as big gold and silver medals of the International Engineering Academy, memorable medal of the International Academy of Natural and Social Sciences «For Services in Russian Science and Economic Revival».
