Xavier Solano started his professional career in 1970, as the Head of financial information of Corn Products Company (CPC) until 1974. In that year he was appointed financial administrative Director of the European Company of Abrasivos.

In 1977 he became independent and devoted himself to the real estate activity that will later lead into the creation of RESTAURA. He is the sole partner and President of this company, which is located in 139, Pau Claris Street of Barcelona. When he founded this company, he was especially interested in the restoration of buildings and in the way of making lot of people had access to a more affordable housing. At that time, Xavier Solano was just 30 years old.

In 1989 he bought and restored with the help of other partners the old factory LUDESA, and turned it into ECOCAT S.L. This was the biggest factory of Spain in the treatment of industrial waste and he subsequently sold it. In the same year, after acquiring with the help of other partners the Nature Reserve Sant Miquel del Fai, which is one of the most important parks of Catalonia, he promoted its restoration. At the present he is the President and main shareholder of it.

Xavier Solano graduated in Commercial Studies at the Escuela de Altos Estudios Mercantiles de Barcelona (1966) and in 1997 he studied Financial and Economic Management at ESADE. At the present he is a member of Fomento del Trabajo, Círculo de Economía, Círculo Ecuestre and ESADE.
