REYAL URBIS
Reyal Urbis was created as a result of the merger of two large companies, Reyal Grupo and Inmobiliaria Urbis. Both companies with large experience and prestige within the Spanish market.
After the merger, as a consequence of Reyal’s IPO over Urbis, a new company of reference appears in the Spanish market. With combined sales of more than 1.3 billion euros in 2006 and presence in more than 40 cities in Spain and Portugal.
As of December 31st, 2006, Reyal Urbis had a land stock totaling 8.6 million square meters, with the potential of developing around 65.000 housing units. This makes Reya Urbis one of the leading companies in the real estate development market throughout Europe, with more than 11.200 housing units under developments, close to 300 prime locations land plots and around 150 developments under construction.
Reyal Urbis also has assets in other real estate products, such as office space, shopping centers, industrial warehouses, senior citizens housing, and retail space. Our hotel brand name, Rafael Hoteles, has eight operating and three under construction.
