| The European Property Industry Coalition will campaign at BMP for an EU REIT |

At BMP 2007, the EU REIT Coalition (European Landowners’ Organization, European Property Federation, RICS Europe, TEGoVA, the European Group of Valuers Associations and ULI Europe) will present to the public for the first time their campaign for an EU legislative framework for a European Real Estate Investment Trust, or EU REIT.
A half-day seminar on the afternoon of 7 November will include:
• Presentations by industry leaders and the Coalition lobbying team running the campaign
• A team of real estate finance academics from one of Europe’s leading universities will present research on the significance of the EU REIT for pan-European property investment and for the EU economy, financial markets and citizens in general. The research will be made available at BMP.
• A panel of industry leaders moderated by the head of the research team will discuss and debate the research and the campaign with the European Commission, European Parliament and member states.
