Jaime Lopes is CEO and Executive President of Chamartin Imobiliária is 52 years old and married with two children.
He has a degree in Economy and in 1989 he completed his MBC in Buisiness Administration at the University of Porto.
Between 1991 and 1994 he was Deputy Board Member of A.M. Mesquita a Portuguese company.
In 1994 he was invited to take a seat on the board of directors at Amorim Imobiliária.
From 1996 until 1998 he attended a Management Program at the London Business School International.
As the final project leading up to his MSC, in Management, he wrote a dissertation on “Real Estate Valuation – Analysis of the main methodologies”.
1990 – 1999 He lectured on Project Analysis and Capital Budgeting at the University of Porto. He is currently and continually taking part in conferences and seminars as a specialist guest on the topic of Property and Strategic Management.
He has headed the internationalisation process and been general manager of the Amorim Imobiliária Shopping Center Division since 2002.
Towards the end of 2006 Amorim Imobiliária was bought by the Spanish Group Chamartin and called Chamartin Inmobiliaria since April 2007. Following this acquisition he was appointed as Managing Director, based in Madrid of the department of Global Shopping Centres at Chamartin (Spain, Portugal, Germany and Poland).
In June 2007, he was appointed as CEO, of Chamartin Imobiliária Portugal, as well as Global Managing Director of Shopping Centres for the Chamartin’s Group.
