Geographer graduated in the University of São Paulo and specialized in Environment and Tourism in the same university.
Founder and Director of the Ambiental Expeditions tour operator since 1987. The main projects are of development of the tourism poles related to nature with social-environmental concerns and sustainable development, specially in Brazil.
Founder of the NGO SOS Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Rain Forest), ex-president of the Brazil GREENPEACE Council. Besides participating as a member of the National Council of Tourism, National Trade Confederation Tourism Council and Tourism Council of the São Paulo State Trade Federation.
Among these, participation also at Braztoa – Brazilian Tour Operators Association. In this association as Vice-President from 2001 to 2003, assuming the Presidency from 2003 to 2005, being re-elected to a second administration, 2005/2007. Was also Vice-President of Abav-SP – Brazilian Travel Agencies Associtation.
Is member of the National Council of the European Tourism Comission and in the 90s acted as an Ecology Commentator at Gazeta TV, broadcasting station that belongs to the Casper Libero Foundation.
