Nuria Pedrals graduated as an Architect in 1974 from the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (UPC) in the field of Territorial law and environmental impact.
She has also taken various courses at the Colegio de Arquitectos about urban planning and council management.
She has been Managing Director at Qualitat de l'Edificació i Rehabilitació de l'Habitatge, since the 31 of July 2007 a newly appointed role.
Up until now she had been the Deputy Managing Director of Qualitat, Sostenibilitat i Rehabilitació del Departament de Medi Ambient i Habitatge, Directed by Francesc Baltasar.
She has extensive professional experience, working within the County Councils of Sant Cugat del Vallès, Sant Feliu de Llobregat and Prat de Llobregat, as well as County Council Architect and Head of Services and Director of Urban Services.
Responsible for writing the Order of Eco-efficiency of buildings and their diffusion.
Responsible for the application of the Planes of Rehabilitation of Buildings of the Pla d’habitatges 2004-2007.
