Salvador Grané Terradas was born on 21st December 1956 and is 48 years old. He is Civil Engineer by the Civil Engineer School of Barcelona (Technical University of Barcelona). He also graduated in Business Administration from ESADE, in Health from the Carlos III Health Institute of Madrid and also in Environmental Engineering from the Spanish Ministry of Industry.
His great professional experience began in 1978 as a trainer collaborator of the United Nations Environmental Programe (UNEP) for the MED-VII pilot project in the area of Tarragona. In the 80s he became Head of the Tarragona Environmental Health Section (Health Department of the Generalitat de Cataluña). From 1987 to 1989 he worked as a Head Engineer for Servicio de las Cuencas del Sur of the Junta de Aguas (nowadays named Catalan Water Agency of the Generalitat de Cataluña).
Since 1992 he was Building Director of Nova Icaria, S. A. where he was responsible for the Barcelona Olimpic Village construction. From 1992 to 1995 he was Building General Manager of Port Aventura theme park in Vilaseca-Salou and Development General Manager of CRT (Tourism and Leisure Centre). During the year 1995 he worked as General Manager of Sumasa, a construction and facilities management company owned by Inmobiliaria Colonial (La Caixa). From 1996 to 1998 he held the position of Executive Officer and Commercial Manager of GP Comercial and GP Resort, responsible for developing the shopping and residential areas of the Vilaseca-Salou (Port Aventura) CRT.
At the present moment, Salvador Grané is General Manager of Landscape Grup Inmobiliari, a real estate company by Banco Sabadell.
