He obtained his degree by IESE, in the Navarra University, where he received the Doctorate in Business Administration and Science from IESE and his Bachelor’s in Business Organisation and Administration from the National University of Tucumán.

He was a Professor for the Finance Department of the Navarra University, he is currently a member of the Board and Steering Committee of IESE in Madrid and holder of the Mario Losantos Real Estate Chair. He has been the Director of the Master Program in Economics and Business Management from 1987 to 1997. He collaborated as an invited professor in other business schools to include: AESE (Portugal), IPADE (Mexico), LAE (Argentina), INALDE (Columbia), HCMS (Moscow), IDE (Ecuador) and Business School, Piura University (Peru). Member of Public-Private Partnership, Urban Land Institute, Washington, USA.

He has participated in conferences and meetings of businessmen of the real estate sector and in seminars concerning the management of projects and real estate businesses.

José Luis Suárez is also a Member of Business Board of Directors, a Consultant in Finantial, Real Estate and International Business, and a Member of Barcelona Meeting Point Organizing Committee.

Significant among his other professional activities are his publications, books, and numerous articles in specialised fields. He is also a financial and real estate consultant.
