Mr. Gil has a degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1979) and two Masters Degrees, one in Tax Assessment from the Instituto de Empresa de Madrid, and the other in Economics and Business Management (MBA) from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Empresa (IESE).

From 1986 to 1998, he was General Director of Areservice (Grupo Banco Árabe Español “Aresbank”), in charge of the real estate development of the group’s assets, as well as the management services necessary for the urban development and operation of the same.
As the same time, from 1992 to 1998, he has been a Member of the Council of Administration at Prima Inmobiliaria, S.A. Prima is one of the major firms listed on the Spanish Stock Exchange, with an asset volume of and a capitalisation value that places is among the top five firms in the sector.

Currently, he is Chief Executive Officer in Gladius Consulting (a private limited company), which gives strategic advice and managment to the real estate industry through its Corporate Real Estate, large land development and projects, and Corporate finance departments.
