Ignacio Albiñana graduated in Law (ICADE, 1984) and in Economics & Business Administration (ICADE, 1985). He joined Uría Menéndez Law Firm in 1984 and was appointed partner in 1993.

His activity has focused on Real Estate and Construction Law, mergers and acquisitions, Real Estate projects financing, institutional and private Real Estate funding. He belongs to the Environmental, Urban and Real Estate Law Department and has leaded some of the most important Real Estate transactions and acquisitions.

He has been involved in the design, constitution and operation of private and institutional Real Estate investment funds up to an amount of more than 5 billion euros
( 3 billion in institutional funds and 2 billion in private funds) gathering more than 75 private investors and family offices in various investment funds.

He takes part regularly, as a speaker, in seminars and legal lectures organized by Business Schools and other institutions, concerning promotion, investment and financing of Real Estate projects. He is one of the top lawyers in the Real Estate market.
