Jonás Balboa, after studying Philosophy at Valencia University, became incorporated to the working life in 2002, performing directive duties on several areas of Grupo Balboa, such as in hotels, tourism, and in the residential area.
He initially participated in the management of several hotels of the chain during the Balboa Hoteles consolidations. Later, he took over the management of Grupo Balboa of Czech Republic activities during more than two years, standing out for the work performed in the group’s Trade Centre in Prague, completing fifteen years-permanency of Grupo Balboa in the country to open other enterprise areas in the Central and South America.
As of 2006, he worked as the Director of Grupo Balboa in Brazil, consolidating Balboa Brazil as an important business development enterprise, integrated in the Brazilian market of first residence, focused on the State of São Paulo.
In addition, he keeps the International expansion portfolio for the enterprise, following the strong growth of the group’s last years internationally. In this period, he has performed several marketing studies for countries like Morocco, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Panama, Nicaragua, Colombia and Costa Rica.
Due to his high international experience in comparative analyses of real state and hotels enterprises, as well as their operational development management, he is often invited to many seminars as speaker.
