“80% OF THE BMP 2006 SPACE HAS ALREADY BEEN RESERVED” Enrique Lacalle, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the International Real Estate Show and Symposium Barcelona Meeting Point, organized by El Consorcio de la Zona Franca, whose Executive President is Manuel Royes, considers that the ninth edition of Barcelona Meeting Point “turned out beyond all expectations, and confirmed it as the great International Real Estate meeting in Autumn”. Mr. Enrique Lacalle would like to highlight that “BARCELONA MEETING POINT IS THE SHOW OF THE DREAMS”, since buying an apartment is one of the main events in the life of a family. El Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Barcelona—whose Executive President is Manuel Royes, President of B.M.P.S.A and Special Delegate of the State at the CZFB—actually organizes the three Meeting Point real estate shows as well as the International Logistics Show and BCN Futur, that will take place on November 24th - 27th. “There is no doubt the Consorcio’s contribution to the Fira and to Barcelona has been decisive in these last years, with two number one shows, Barcelona Meeting Point, the first one in Europe, and the International Logistics Show, the second one in Europe, plus the new show BCN Futur, all of them generate a lot of wealth and international projection for the city”, has said Manuel Royes. Enrique Lacalle has announced the preparation of two new shows, the East Meeting Point in Warsaw for the Eastern Europe countries and the Lisbon Meeting Point in Lisbon, devoted to Residential Tourism and Hotels, two new international Meeting Points organized by BMP, both with total collaboration of Warsaw and Lisbon and also requested by them. The Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Barcelona Meeting Point is sorry that a Show that generates knowledge, business, exchange deals and richness for Spain and that in nine years has become an international point of reference, admired, respected and copied, creates, as a result of a lack of knowledge and a badly understood partisanship, some comments completely away from reality. It is very easy to criticize without a basis but the strength of the facts is irrefutable. Finally, the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of BMP thanks all the authorities, national and international associations that collaborate with the Symposium, speakers, sponsors and very specially to the main ones, La Caixa La Vanguardia, La Razón, Cinco Días and TV3, exhibitors, national and international participants, media and the City of Barcelona for theircollaboration and enthusiastic participation, that has made this 9th edition of the International Real Estate Show and Symposium be possible, that will keep on growing next year.
