Nigel Baker, Former Director of Corporate Services, EMEA, Microsoft, and Current President of CoreNet UK Chapter, Bridget Rosewell, founder and Chairman of Volterra Consulting, and Joan Clos, former Mayor of Barcelona and current Ambassador of Spain to Turkey, have confirmed their keynote speaking at the BMP’s Symposium.

They will all Keynote Speak at the Conference on “Scientific and Technological Districts as a Tool for Urban and Economic Development” to take place on October 20-21. This Conference will gather corporate end users as well as Scientific and Technological District developers. It will also be a meeting place for Advisors in this real estate segment.

Nigel Baker has become known for his provoking ideas such as "Work is what you do, not where you do it", "Corporate real estate professionals have an obligation to dive the resource of real estate in line with the corporate goals" or "I'm a change agent and a business person before I'm a real estate person". Thus, his Keynote Speech is expected to attract a great deal of interest and will be one of the Symposium's highlights.

Bridget Rosewell is a professional economist and business woman. She has founded several economic consultancies, all of which are still successfully operating. Her career has trodden the interface between public policy development and implementation and the contribution that the private sector can make. Her current business interests include chairing Volterra Consulting and ensuring its successful growth, alongside non-executive roles and providing professional assistance to a variety of clients. Ms Rosewell is currently the Consultant Chief Economic Adviser to the Greater London Authority and between 2002 to 2008 she was the Chief Economist to the GLA.

Joan Clos was Mayor of Barcelona between September 1997 and September 2006 and was responsible for the birth of the 22@Barcelona district. He was Spain’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism from 2006 to 2008. Currently, he is Spain’s Ambassador to Turkey and Azerbaijan.
